On Saturday 14th of May 2016, the final match of the FA Cup 2016 was played in Kuala Lumpur, with the presence of several Argentine players.

The winning team, JDT - Johor Darul Ta´zim, is led by the Argentine coach Mario Gomez.

During the match, contacts were made with the President of JDT, Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and with managers of  the FAM (Football Association of Malaysia) in order to promote cooperation projects with our country not only in sport related activities, but also in the commercial and cultural fields.

Football is the most popular sport in Malaysia and has an important number of Argentine players in different leagues.
