Entre 1976 y 1983 se instauró en la Argentina un gobierno militar que ejecutó un plan sistemático de apropiación de bebés, niñas y niños que fueron separados de sus madres y padres desaparecidos. Sus identidades fueron cambiadas o fueron dados en adopción borrando todo rastro de sus familias biológicas. Desde entonces, las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo y sus familias los buscan y, recuperada la democracia, el Estado se sumó a esa tarea a través de diversas instituciones. A la fecha, 130 nietas y nietos recuperaron su identidad, su historia y sus lazos biológicos. Aún faltan alrededor de 350 que pueden estar en cualquier rincón del mundo. El Estado Argentino busca a estas personas para restituir sus identidades. Tú podrías ser una de ellas.

You might be one of the granddaughters or grandsons we are looking for. Do not live with doubts.
Do you know why we are looking for you?
Between 1976 and 1983 Argentina was under the rule of a military government that implemented a systematic plan for the abduction of babies, girls and boys, who were separated from their disappeared parents. Their identity was falsified or they were given up for adoption, all traces of their biological families being removed. Since then, the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo and their families have been looking for them and, ever since the restoration of democracy, the Argentine State has also been engaged in this task through different institutions. To date, 130 granddaughters and grandsonshave recovered their identity, their history and their biological ties. About 350 are still missing and they might be anywhere in the world. The Argentine State is looking for them for the restitution of their identity. You could be one of them.
